春分，古时又称为“日中”、“日夜分”，发作在每年3月21日前后。

“春分”代表了两层意思：一是“日夜平分”，那一天日夜等长，各为12个小时；二是“季节平分”，古时从立春到立夏的三个月为春季，春分位于正中间，平分了春季。

"Spring Equinox" contains two layers of meaning. One is the "bisection of the day", on which the night and day are approximately equally long with 12 hours each. The other is the "bisection of the season". In ancient times, spring lasts from the Start of Spring to the Start of Summer. Spring Equinox is in the midpoint and bisects the spring.

民间有“春分到，蛋儿俏”的说法。一些人认为春分此日，鸡蛋受力相对平衡，是玩立蛋游戏的更佳时间。据说，在那一天里，来自世界各地的粉丝们会加进立蛋的尝试中来。

据说，风筝起源于春秋战国期间，在古代被称为“纸鸢”“纸鹞”等。从隋唐起头，因为造纸业的兴旺，民间起头用纸来裱糊风筝；到了宋代，放风筝成为人们喜欢的户外活动。

It is said that kites originated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. In ancient times, kites were called "paper kites" and "paper harriers", etc. Since Sui and Tang Dynasties, due to the development of paper industry, people began to make paper kites. By Song Dynasty, kite flying became a popular outdoor activity.

风筝造造是中国传统手工身手之一，身手归纳综合起来有四个字：扎、糊、绘、放，简称“四艺”。

2006年，风筝造造身手被我国列进第一批国度级非物量文化遗产名录。海淀区的“曹氏风筝工艺”享负盛名，是北京市非物量文化遗产名录的出色代表。
